My name is Wajira, but you can call me Wajirita;)

So, my good friend Anne Marie called me up the other day to rave about some "bites" she tasted at a party that night and she mentioned that a good variation would be a Cuban version made with Maria cookies and cream cheese. And voilá, the idea for a Wajira was born! I expected them to be good, for sure, but I had NO idea they would be this amazing! The taste...the texture...did I mention the taste??? Ok, they are made with ground Maria cookies, cream cheese and guava marmalade and then dipped in white chocolate and drizzled with guava glaze and red vanilla coating...AyAyAy, dangerous!

Look who posted a blog about my Cake Bites:)

Cristina Sullivan is a good friend and GREAT photographer who lives right by my house. She specializes in engagement, wedding, maternity, and newborn photography and is AMAZING!! I'm convinced she can make ME look good, though I am not gonna test THAT theory any time soon (as anyone who knows me knows I'm "that" person, you know the one, the one in the back of a photo hiding behind the widest person in the group;)

Ok, so she's been my taste-tester for months now and apparently my biggest fan:) Last week she bragged, I mean, blogged about Kiki's Kreations here:

Make sure you check out the rest of her blog for engagement and wedding pics. You'll see I'm telling the truth about her pics. Hire her if you're in Miami, you'll love me forever!

For her newborn, baby and maternity photography:

New Job Venture - Kiki's Kreations

Hey Friends,

Those of you who know me know that I love to craft, bake, cook, etc. I am basically your run-of-the-mill susie homemaker. Well, except my name is not susie, but that doesn't really matter;)

Well, recently I've been making Cake Bites that I learned to make for my son's wedding in June. So many people that have been eating these bites have said, "you need to sell these". At first I resisted (as you can tell by the fact that my son got married in JUNE and I am only NOW getting around to actually doing it:) I'm a little stubborn, I know.

After making countlesss of these bites and using my crafting creativity to make them not only decadently yummy but also quite cute (at least that's what I've been told, I have decided that I will start selling them for parties, weddings, showers and such. I have started a facebook page that I hope will help me spread the word and I am including a link below.
